Virtual Visa card

About the virtual Visa card

Wealify cards are virtual Visa cards issued by Wealify that let you top up a virtual card with the stablecoin balance in your Wealify wallet and pay on international websites. You can use the card to shop online, pay for subscriptions, run ads, or add it to your phone wallet for contactless payments.

How it works:

  1. Top up USDT / USDC to the Stablecoin wallet in your Wealify wallet — via the Tron, Solana or Ethereum network.

  2. Create a card and transfer money from your Wealify wallet to the card.

  3. Use the card to pay.

Cards share the same account and verification result as Global Account. If you already have a verified Wealify account, you don't need to sign up or verify again.

General spending card (Volcano) and Advertising card (Zenith) — which to choose

In the app, the two card types appear under their own names: the General spending card is Volcano and the Advertising card is Zenith.

Wealify cards are virtual Visa cards — number only, for online payments, and can be added to a phone wallet. Ready to use as soon as they're created. When creating a card, you choose 1 of 2 purposes:

General spending card (Volcano)

Advertising card (Zenith)

Best for

Shopping, subscriptions, everyday spending. The most flexible

Businesses / agencies running ads with large budgets (Facebook, Google, TikTok)

Phone wallet

Google Pay only

Apple Pay and Google Pay

Issuance fee

25 USD — your first virtual card is free

2 USD

Minimum top-up each time

2 USD each time — good for small purchases

10,000 USD each time — only suitable for high-volume advertising

Top-up fee and foreign exchange (FX) fee

Top-up fee 1.5% each time · FX fee 2.5% on non-USD transactions

Top-up fee 0% · FX fee 0%

Accepted at

Most international payment pages that accept Visa — online shopping, subscriptions, ad platforms

Most international payment pages that accept Visa — especially ad platforms (Facebook, Google, TikTok)

Things to consider

The most flexible, suitable for small and everyday spending

Low issuance fee, but every top-up must be at least 10,000 USD. Don't choose this card just because the issuance fee is low — only choose it if you run high-volume ads

⚠️ NOTE:

Some payment pages or types of services may not accept the card, depending on the card issuer's policy and the site's own policy. So before topping up a large amount to pay on a new site, test it first in 3 steps:

  1. Top up a small amount to the card.

  2. Make a small transaction on that site.

  3. If the transaction succeeds → top up more and make the large payment.

If the transaction is declined, see the article What to do when a transaction is declined (9.4.2).

Card limit by account tier

The number of cards you can open depends on your account tier. Your tier is shown at the bottom of the left menu and in Account information. See the table below. For other benefits of each tier, see the article Account tiers and benefits (chapter 5).

⚠️ CANCELLED CARDS STILL COUNT TOWARD YOUR CARD LIMIT

Once you reach the limit, the Create card button is locked. Your account tier goes up automatically based on the total amount you've successfully received into Global Account.

Requirements and verification

Requirements for creating a card

You must complete verification and provide valid information as required by Wealify's Legal team before a card can be issued. This applies to all card types. Requirements:

  1. Your KYC application (personal account) / KYB application (business account) has the status Approved.

  2. Your stablecoin balance in the Wealify wallet is enough for the issuance fee and the initial top-up.

  3. No outstanding card fees.

  4. You haven't reached your tier's maximum number of cards.

Notes:

  • Verify once, use it for both Global Account and Cards. You don't need to do it again.

  • Personal accounts must verify their phone number via Telegram before doing KYC.

  • All applications are tracked in the Verification Center menu.

  • Cards can't be issued in some countries / regions yet. If this happens during verification, please contact Wealify CS.

Your first General spending card needs additional verification

Your account's first General spending card needs one extra verification with the card issuing partner. General spending cards created afterward don't need to be verified again. Detailed steps:

  1. On the card creation form, choose the General spending purpose. An Additional verification required box appears below. You don't need to fill in or upload any documents at this step — just click the button in the next step. While you wait, the Issue card button can't be clicked.

  2. When you're ready to use the card, click Send verification request.

  3. The Wealify team completes verification with the card issuing partner and lets you know the result by email / notification.

Create and manage cards

Create a virtual card

Steps:

  1. Click Create card (on the Cards or Overview screen).

  2. Choose the Card purpose: General spending (Volcano) or Advertising (Zenith). For your first General spending card, complete the additional verification first.

  3. Fill in your information:

    • Card nickname (required) — helps you tell your cards apart

    • Email (required) — pre-filled from your profile, editable before issuance. This is the email that receives verification codes when you pay online

    • Phone number

  4. Enter the Card starting balance, or tap a quick option: 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 / 5,000.

  5. Check the Payment details section: starting balance, card issuance fee, top-up fee and total deducted from your Wallet.

  6. Tick to accept the terms and click Issue card.

Result: the card is Active right away. Your Wealify wallet is charged the top-up amount plus fees. You receive the email "Your card is ready" and an in-app notification.

⚠️ 3 DETAILS YOU CAN'T CHANGE AFTER ISSUANCE

  • The card's email and phone number. Use an email you check often — this is where verification codes arrive when you pay.

  • The card purpose.

  • Every card you create counts toward your tier's card limit, even if you cancel it later.

Card validity: cards are valid for a number of years, usually about 4–5 years. The expiry date is set by the card issuing partner, so it may differ by card type — you can see the expiry date right in the card information. For cards that are about to expire or have expired, please contact Wealify CS for guidance.

Want to change the card's email? The card's email and phone number can't be edited after issuance. If you need to use a different email, create a new card with the new email, then withdraw the balance from the old card to your Wealify wallet or cancel the old card.

To change the phone number or password of your Wealify account (not the card's details), go to Account information → Edit.

🔒 KEEP YOUR CARD DETAILS SECURE

Never share your card number, CVV or OTP code with anyone. Wealify will never ask for this information. Only enter your card details on payment pages you trust.

⚠️ A CARD CAN BE FROZEN WITHOUT YOU DOING ANYTHING

If card fees remain unpaid for more than 7 days, all active cards are temporarily frozen and unfreeze automatically once you pay.

Top up a card

Money is moved from the stablecoin section of your Wealify wallet to the card. Card top-ups are only done in the Cards section, not in the Transfer flow.

  1. In the card details, click Top up card. Click Change card if you want to choose a different card.

  2. Enter the amount, or tap a quick option: 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 / 5,000. The screen shows your Wealify wallet balance and card balance.

  3. Check the Top-up fee and Top-up amount (total deducted from your Wealify wallet), then click Top up card.

The card receives exactly the amount you enter; the top-up fee is added to the amount deducted from your Wealify wallet. For fees and minimum top-ups by card type, see the Card fee schedule.

A Frozen card can't be topped up.

Withdraw from a card to your Wealify wallet

You can withdraw the card balance to the stablecoin section of your Wealify wallet without waiting for approval. The money is held for up to 14 business days before it reaches your Wealify wallet.

Why doesn't the money arrive right away? Withdrawals are held for up to 14 business days to cover possible disputes from merchants about transactions you've made with the card.

  1. In the card details, click Withdraw to stablecoin wallet.

  2. Enter the amount (no more than the card balance) and confirm.

  3. The card balance decreases right away. The history shows a Withdraw from card transaction with the status Processing.

  4. When the holding period ends, the money reaches your Wealify wallet and the status changes to Completed.

Notes:

  • A Frozen card can't be withdrawn from.

  • If you need to move money to an external wallet, allow for this holding period before creating a USDT transfer order.

  • If you only want to stop using the card for a while, freeze the card — the balance stays on the card.

Freeze and unfreeze a card

Freezing a card declines all transactions, while the card and its balance are kept. Virtual cards have no maintenance fee, so you can keep one frozen for a long time at no cost. Physical cards, however, have a maintenance fee of 20 USD/month, charged even while frozen; it's waived if you spent more than 5,000 USD with the card in the previous month. To stop the fee, you need to cancel the card.

Freeze: in the card details, click Freeze card and confirm. The status changes to Frozen, and you receive the email "Your card has been paused at your request".

Unfreeze: open the details of the frozen card and click Unfreeze card. The status returns to Active.

While frozen, the card can't: make payments · be topped up · be withdrawn to your Wealify wallet · show the card number / CVV.

Cancel a card

If you only want to stop using it for a while, freeze the card instead of cancelling it.

  1. In the card details, click Cancel card and confirm.

  2. The status changes to Cancelling, then Cancelled.

  3. The remaining balance on the card is refunded to your Wealify wallet. You receive a card cancellation confirmation email and a refund email.

After cancelling:

  • The card can't be restored. If you need a card again, create a new one and pay the issuance fee.

  • Cancelled cards still count toward your tier's card limit.

Pay with your card

Add a card to Apple Pay / Google Pay

General spending cards can only be added to Google Pay. Advertising cards can be added to both Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Google Pay (Android) — General spending and Advertising cards:

  1. Open Google Wallet → Add to Wallet → Payment card.

  2. Enter or scan your Wealify card details.

  3. Enter the verification code (OTP) → the card is ready to use.

Apple Pay (iPhone) — Advertising cards only:

  1. Open the Wallet app → tap +.

  2. Enter or scan your Wealify card details.

  3. Enter the verification code (OTP) → the card is ready to use.

What to do when a transaction is declined

Declined transactions show the status Failed in the Transactions tab of the Cards screen. Most cases come from one of the causes below.

Cause

How to check / fix it

1. Insufficient card balance

Check the Current card balance in the card details. Some merchants (especially ad platforms) place an extra hold when you pay — see the article Why my card balance dropped by more than I spent

2. The card isn't Active

The card is Frozen → click Unfreeze card. Other statuses → see the article Card statuses

3. The payment verification code wasn't completed

Check the inbox of the card's email, including the spam folder

4. Payment details don't match

Check the card number, expiry date, CVV and billing address you entered on the platform

5. The payment page doesn't accept the card

Some sites or types of services don't support the card

If you've checked the causes above and the transaction is still declined — contact Wealify CS. Have ready: the transaction ID and the name of the payment page.

⛔ IMPORTANT: WHEN A TRANSACTION IS DECLINED, STOP — DON'T KEEP RETRYING

On days with 10 or more transactions and a high decline rate, a decline fee is charged for each declined transaction.

For Advertising cards, if a transaction is declined 3 times in a row, please stop and contact Wealify CS to avoid the card being frozen.

Why my card balance dropped by more than I spent

When you pay, the transaction amount is temporarily deducted from the card first, not yet finalized. This is the standard authorization hold used by international card networks. During this time, the transaction shows the status Pending.

Case

Result

Transaction status

The merchant settles the transaction

The held amount is actually deducted from the card balance

Completed

The merchant doesn't settle it (cancels the order, or was only verifying the card)

The held amount is returned to the card balance

Cancelled

During the hold, the card's available balance is lower than what you actually spent. This is the most common reason the displayed balance doesn't seem to match.

When the hold is settled or returned is decided by the merchant. Wealify can't shorten this time.

How to check:

  1. Open the Cards → Transactions tab menu and find transactions with the status Pending.

  2. For Cancelled transactions, check that the money has been returned to the card balance.

If a transaction has stayed Pending for a long time — contact Wealify CS. Have ready: the transaction ID.

Refunds and cancelled transactions

Refunds go back to the same card you paid with, not to your Wealify wallet. Refund or cancellation fees are deducted directly from the refund amount, and the rest goes to the card balance. For the fees, see the Card fee schedule.

Question

Answer

When will the refund arrive?

It's up to the merchant. When Wealify receives the refund, the card balance is updated

How do I move a refund to my Wealify wallet?

Withdraw from the card to your Wealify wallet; the money arrives within up to 14 business days

Where does a refund go if the card has been cancelled?

Please contact Wealify CS for guidance on your specific case

If the merchant has confirmed the refund but the card balance hasn't updated after the time they gave, please contact Wealify CS with the original transaction ID.

Notifications: the notification bell in the top bar and emails tell you when a card is created, fees are charged, or a transfer order is completed or fails. For cards, you can also connect Telegram: follow the "Connect Telegram" instructions in the card notification, click Start and share the phone number that matches your registered number.

Physical card: linking, QR activation and PIN

You need: the physical card in hand, the activation code printed on the packaging or the instruction sheet that comes with the card, approved KYC / KYB, and enough money in your Wallet for the card linking fee if any (currently 0 USD under the standard fee schedule; the form always shows the fee that applies).

Option 1: enter it manually in the app

Physical card linking form

  1. Cards screen → Add physical card.

  2. Fill in the Card nickname, Email, Phone number, the last 4 digits printed on the card, a PIN (6 digits you choose) and the Activation code.

  3. Check the Card linking fee at the bottom of the form and click Add physical card. The fee is charged before linking; if there isn't enough money, the system takes you to top up. If linking fails, the fee is refunded to your Wallet right away.

  4. The card changes to Active. You receive the email "Physical card activation confirmed".

Option 2: scan the QR code on the card box (fastest, under 2 minutes)

  1. Open your phone camera, scan the QR code on the box and tap the link that appears.

  2. If you aren't logged in, log in to Wealify; the system takes you back to the activation screen automatically, so you don't need to scan again.

  3. Check the line "Signed in as: ..." at the top of the form. If it isn't the cardholder's account, click Log in with another account.

  4. The last 4 digits are pre-filled from the QR code (you can edit them if they're wrong). Enter the Activation code and set a PIN.

  5. Click Add physical card, wait a few seconds until "Card activated successfully" appears, then choose Top up card now or Go to card management.

PIN rules (6 digits): no 3 consecutive ascending or descending digits (123, 654), no 3 identical digits in a row (111), numbers only. Valid: 459872. Invalid: 123456, 111222. Don't use your date of birth or phone number.

Change PIN / forgot PIN: in the physical card details, click Change PIN, enter the OTP sent to your email and enter the new PIN twice. You don't need to know your old PIN. If you enter the wrong PIN at a POS terminal / ATM 3 times, the issuer locks the card; contact Wealify CS.

First physical card activation gift: you receive 10 USD in your Wallet, once per account. This amount can only be used to top up the card — it can't be withdrawn or used to pay fees; when you top up the card from the minimum stated in the notification, the system uses the 10 USD gift first, then your own money.

Card FAQ

About cards and creating cards

Question

Answer

What types of cards does Wealify offer?

Currently virtual Visa cards. When creating a card, you choose the purpose General spending (Volcano) (shopping, subscriptions, everyday spending) or Advertising (Zenith) (high-volume advertising). For fees and minimum top-ups of each type, see the Card fee schedule

Where can I use a virtual card?

Most international payment pages accept virtual Visa cards, as do phone wallets (General spending: Google Pay; Advertising: Apple Pay and Google Pay). Some sites may not accept the card, so on a new site make a small transaction first before topping up a large amount

How many cards can I open?

It depends on your account tier — see the numbers in the article Account tiers and benefits (chapter 5). Cancelled cards still count toward this limit

What do I need to create a virtual card?

Approved KYC (personal) or KYB (business) · enough stablecoin balance for the issuance fee and initial top-up · no outstanding card fees · not yet at your tier's maximum number of cards

I've already verified for Global Account. Do I need to verify again for cards?

No. Your verification result applies to both Global Account and Cards

Why do I need to send a verification request for my first General spending card?

The card issuing partner requires one verification per account. Later General spending cards don't need to be verified again

Why is the Create card button locked?

Your account has reached its tier's maximum number of cards, or has unpaid outstanding card fees

Where can I see the card number and CVV?

Cards menu → click the card → View card details → enter the OTP code sent to your email (valid for 90 seconds). Frozen cards can't be viewed

How long is a card valid?

Usually about 4–5 years; the expiry date is set by the issuing partner — see it in the card information. For cards that are about to expire or have expired, please contact Wealify CS

Can I change the card's email or phone number?

No. If you need to use a different email, create a new card with the new email, then withdraw the balance from the old card to your Wealify wallet or cancel the old card

What does it mean when a card shows Pending?

The card request has been sent to the issuing partner and is waiting to be completed, so it can't be used for payments yet. If it stays in this status for more than 1 day, contact Wealify CS

Top-ups and payments

Question

Answer

How do I add money to create a card?

Create a Stablecoin wallet in the Wallet menu, copy the wallet address, then send USDT / USDC from an exchange or external wallet on the right network you chose. Wealify doesn't charge a top-up fee

How long does a top-up to my Wealify wallet take?

Usually 5–30 minutes, depending on the network and blockchain conditions

What if the money hasn't arrived after 30 minutes?

Don't send a second transfer. Get the blockchain transaction ID (TxHash), then contact Wealify CS with the TxHash, the network you chose, the amount and the time you sent it

What if I sent to the wrong network, token or address?

It can't be recovered. The transaction runs directly on the blockchain, so Wealify has no way to intervene or recover it

Can I add the card to Apple Pay / Google Pay?

General spending cards: Google Pay only. Advertising cards: both Apple Pay and Google Pay

Why was my transaction declined?

Usually because: insufficient card balance · the card isn't Active · the verification code wasn't completed · payment details don't match (including the billing address) · the payment page doesn't accept the card

Is there a fee for declined transactions?

There may be, on days when the card has 10 or more transactions. For how it's calculated, see the Decline fee

Why doesn't my card balance match what I've spent?

Mostly because of authorization holds: the money is temporarily deducted first and the transaction shows Pending. When it's settled is decided by the merchant; Wealify can't shorten it

Where do refunds go?

To the same card you paid with, not to your Wealify wallet. The refund fee is deducted directly from the refund amount. If the card has been cancelled, please contact Wealify CS

I withdrew from my card to my Wealify wallet. Why hasn't the money arrived?

Withdrawals are held for up to 14 business days to cover possible disputes before they reach your Wealify wallet

Freezing, cancelling cards and outstanding fees

Question

Answer

Is there a fee to freeze a card?

No. Virtual cards have no maintenance fee, so freezing costs nothing. Physical cards, however, are still charged the 20 USD/month maintenance fee while frozen; to stop the fee, you need to cancel the card.

What can a frozen card do?

It can't make payments, be topped up, be withdrawn from or show the card number. The balance stays on the card

Can a cancelled card be reopened?

No. Cancelling a card can't be undone, and cancelled cards still count toward your card limit. The remaining balance is refunded to your Wealify wallet

What should I do if I think my card details have been exposed?

Freeze the card immediately, then contact Wealify CS with the card name, last 4 digits and any unusual transactions

What are outstanding card fees?

When your Wealify wallet doesn't have enough money to pay fees, the shortfall is recorded as an outstanding balance. While you have one, you can't create new cards; if it's unpaid for more than 7 days, all active cards are temporarily frozen. Once you top up enough, the balance is deducted automatically and the cards unfreeze automatically
